Highlights of Angkor 2 days by Mekong Delta Travel
Come and share our passion for this exciting destination. Our trip is designed to get insight of old-age Angkorian temples including Angkor Wat, the world’s largest religious temple built during the Golden-age of Angkor Empire.
Day 1: Siem Reap - Arrival (L/D) 
Upon the arrival, after transferring to the hotel, we are welcome to the Small Circuit including Prasat Kravan (Cardamon sanctuary) whose designed structure is unusual in that it was not constructed by royalty, Banteay Kdei, Srah Srang (Royal Bath), Ta Prohm (Jungle Temple) that is undoubtedly the most atmospheric ruin at Angkor and should be high on the lit list of every visitor, Takeo, a stark and undecorated temple that undoubtedly would have been one of the finest of all Angkor’s structures, Thomamanon and Chau Say Tevoda.
In the afternoon, we visit the World Seven Wonder which is well known as Angkor Wat and one of the most important archaeological sites in South-East Asia. Angkor wat stretches over some 400 sq. km, including forested area, and Angkor Archaeological Park contains the magnificent remains of the different capitals of the Khmer Empire. In the evening we view sunset at Phnom Bakheng Hill.

Day 2: The South Gate of Angkor Thom (B,L) 
In the early morning, we enjoy the view of sunset at Ankor Wat. Then we start our tour to the most popular South Gate of Angkor Thom’s before going to Angkor Thom (the temple) which was built by Angkor's greatest king, Jayavarman VII. The major attraction of Angkor Thom is the Bayon, whose exact function and symbolism is still unknown until now. Then we go to Bapoun, which is one of the most spectacular of Ankor’s temples in its heyday; to Terrace of Leper King, another mysterious site to find out; and to Terrace of Elephants that once served as the base for the king’s grand audience hall for the public ceremonies. In the afternoon, we have a short trip around Siem Reap town before the departure.
